What’s Happening at Lexington’s Largest St. Patrick’s Day Party

Thanks to Southern First Bank and Wellmore of Lexington, the 8th Annual Oyster Roast and St. Patrick’s Day Party on Thursday, March 16 at the Icehouse Amphitheater is going to be one of the most talked-about parties in Lexington.

Once you register with the Greater Lexington Chamber staff and volunteers, you’ll enter the Icehouse Amphitheater to find what you came for right in front of you. The first tent you see will have tables filled with everything you need to enjoy your oysters – knives, towels, condiments, crackers and a five-gallon bucket for the shells. Volunteers from Clark’s Termite and Pest Control will be cooking and serving oysters around the clock so that everyone can enjoy a bushel of their own.

Not really an oyster person? While your friends are shucking shells, you can head over to grab food from Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, The Wolf Pizza Co or  Belly’s Southern Pride BBQ & Catering. Any of their menu items will melt in your mouth!

After you get your entree of choice, pair it with cold beer, glass of wine, soft drink or water before you make your way to your seat to hear the night’s entertainment. Tokyo Joe, one of the fastest rising bands in the Southeast, will bring great music through some of the most highly skilled, energetic musicians in the business. From originals to catchy covers, Tokyo Joe will give the night’s audience exactly what they want to hear.
