National Night Out

Event Details

National Night Out has been bringing communities together across the country since it began in 1984. The event serves to enhance the relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities in which they serve. According to natw.org, National Night Out provides an opportunity for police officers and neighbors to gather under positive circumstances.

Town of Lexington

National Night Out is a community-building event where many of our neighbors come out for a night of fun, food, and fellowship. There will also be Lexington County deputies present alongside LPD at the Icehouse Amphitheater.

LCSD will be participating in multiple neighborhood-based NNO events. Each location will have deputies present:

• Night Harbor, Parapet Park in the center island) Aug. 3 from 7 to 8 p.m.
• McGregor Downs (200 Woodberry Rd., near mailboxes) Aug. 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
• Whitehall 2 (269 Ambling Cir.) Aug. 3 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• River Oaks Apartments (5324 Bush River Rd., Clubhouse) Aug. 3 from 4 to 5 p.m.
• Planters’ Station (4105 Mineral Springs Rd.) Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
• Landmark Apartments (19 Landmark Dr., Clubhouse) Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
• Woodland Village (2221 Bush River Rd., Clubhouse) Aug. 3, time pending
• Waters at Berryhill (18 Berryhill Rd., Clubhouse) Aug. 3, time pending
• Sumter Street (1122 Monticello Street, Turner AME), Aug. 3, time pending
• Aberdeen Farms, neighborhood residence Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
• Shumpert’s IGA (861 Pine St.) Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., with Pelion PD
• Ivy Link, (231 Ivy Link Rd.) Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.
• Ridge Road Clubhouse, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m.
• Shull Island, Aug. 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• Touch-a-Truck event, Gilbert (new ball fields) Aug. 7 at noon
