We recently launched the LOOK! Art Walk – a unique, self-guided, self-paced tour of business destinations in the greater downtown area who are hosting photos from our existing LOOK! collection. LOOK! photos offer a glimpse into the unique abilities of children and young adults who have a disability or chronic health condition. It’s a beautiful collection that speaks to our vision of inclusion, equity, and community. The LOOK! Art Walk was launched on July 10th, but will continue through December. Find out more!
Businesses who host one or more photos become LOOK! Art Walk destinations. They are identified by a decal on their window. Current LOOK! Art Walk destinations in the Downtown Columbia area include: The Main Course, Granger Owings, Uptown Gifts, The Arcade Building, Mad Monkey, B106.7 FM, Apex Graphics, Liz Gaymon Realty, Indah Coffee-Cottontown, The Miles Firm, KaoThai, Sunrise Artisan Bath and Body, Koger Center for the Arts, Columbia Metropolitan Airport, and Yama Yoga Health and Wellness.
Maps will be available at participating destinations and online at https://www.familyconnectionsc.org/look/art-walk/ The deadline for businesses to sponsor a photo and become a destination on the LOOK! Art Walk is July 30th.
