The weather was an allergy sufferer’s dream: the rain the night before had washed away the pollen and the sun and clouds mixed perfectly for a cool night at Harmon’s Tree Farm on March 26. Click here to see all the pictures from the event.

After completely selling out of tickets, the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center hosted a feast for 400 people from all over town complete. Once guests go their wristbands, it was on.

First stop after registration: Hudson’s Smokehouse tent where the barbecue sliders could be paired with smokey tomato, carolina mustard or vinegar pepper sauce.

After that, guests took two steps forward to beautifully seasoned jambalaya by Private Property. Did you know that Trip Chalk travels to New Orleans to not only buy seasonings, but also learn new techniques from the some of the best in the culinary arts?

Bowls clean, our foodies looked right and got the best of Poultry in Motion’s chicken wings. Flavors included plain, teriyaki, hot and garlic parmesan.

Guests also sampled wines from vineyards right here in Lexington thanks to Mercer House Estate Winery.

Tokyo Joe, a band that has played everywhere from St. Pats in Five Points to the Charleston Music Hall, got the guests out of their food comas and on to the dance floor.
