The Smile Studio makes new home in Lexington

The Smile Studio has been in business since fall of 2016 and is located at 4881 Sunset Boulevard in Lexington, next to The Harvest. Dentist Dr. Wood shared
what makes his dental practice stand out among the competition. “My practice philosophy is based on patient-centered care. I work to spend time getting
to know the patient while helping to educate them on their specific dental needs.” The Smile Studio offers
a wide spectrum of dental procedures, from cleanings to full mouth rehabilitation and implants.

Dr. Wood understands that many people are not fans of the dentist, so he and the other 11 staff members work diligently to make sure each patient feels
comfortable and relaxed. “We have focused on creating and designing a dental practice that is warm and welcoming. By providing compassionate care in
combination with a homey environment we seek to generate a relationship of trust and confidence between patient, doctor and staff.”

The goal for the future is to grow and serve the Lexington community and to educate people on the importance of oral health. Dr. Wood explains, “So much
of what is found orally can have a large impact on our total systemic health. We hope to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry.”

The Smile Studio also has a location in Irmo, located off of St. Andrews Road, which was formerly known as the Jackson Smile Studio.
