The New McGuinn Homes: Bonhomme Woods Community
A cornerstone of the Midlands building community recently joined the Greater Lexington Chamber and celebrated its membership with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
McGuinn Homes announced the commencement of the Bonhomme Woods Community, a new development in the Lexington area. McGuinn Homes employs 12 people.
Wade McGuinn started building in 1984 and has built many homes and neighborhoods over the past 30 years. He is a local builder who remains very active in the day to day business.
“We appreciate Lexington people,” said Nick Huard, who is in sales with McGuinn Homes.
Bonhomme Woods is located off of Barr Road near the Country Club of Lexington. The convenient location is just minutes from I-20 or downtown Lexington. Lake Murray is just several miles away as well. The community will have 98 homes, ranging in price from $125,900 to $200,900.
One and two-story homes range from 1300 square feet to more than 2835 square feet with open floor plans designed for the active modern family. New homes feature large kitchens, flex rooms, bonus room options, up to four bedrooms – some with a down stairs master suite – one or two car garages.
All new McGuinn homes are Hybrid Homes, which is an exclusive program that ensures the home is healthier for you and the environment. The homes are built with energy efficient features and construction techniques, making them less expensive to operate. The homes include features to make life more convenient and comfortable.
Huard believes quality, style and service separate McGuinn Homes from the competition. He also said Lexington County is attractive due to land prices and job growth.
According to Huard, the most gratifying aspect of the job is dealing with great people and great communities, and plans for the future focus on continued growth.
The Model Home is open Monday through Saturday from noon until 6 pm.
