Golden Hills Golf & Country Club has long been one of the top golfing destinations in the area, and recent renovations have only strengthened that standing.

Established in 1988 in the heart of Lexington, Golden Hills G&CC offers an 18-hole championship course in a beautiful setting of rolling hills, sparkling lakes and towering trees.

“Golden Hills G&CC prides itself on providing an experience unlike any other for families and golfers in Lexington and throughout the Midland,” Executive Assistant Adam DeLoach said. “We are especially proud of our recent renovation project, which included extensive golf course renovations, as well as renovations to our clubhouse.”

The course renovations focused on converting the greens to TifEagle Bermuda grass, along with rebuilding several tee boxes and continuing with cart path repairs.

“Due to our recent renovations and completely new green complexes, we offer a new and improved playing experience unlike any other. The best part of all that we have to offer is the convenience! Golden Hills is located in the heart of Lexington on Hwy 378, so we are quick and easy to access for anyone in the Lexington community,” said DeLoach, who has been at Golden Hills G&CC for three years. “We have plans for a few more renovations on the golf course over the coming weeks. Aside from that, we try to make ongoing improvements in order to enhance the club and assist in our providing a first class experience to everyone visiting or living in Golden Hills.”

In addition to the golf course, Golden Hills also offers four lighted tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and practice facilities including a driving range, a chipping area and a putting green. The rustic clubhouse, overlooking the tenth hole, includes the golf shop, a bar and grill, banquet facilities, locker rooms and an outdoor patio.

“We strive to make our members and guests feel welcome each time they walk through the door by providing a first class experience,” DeLoach said. “The most gratifying part of my day is getting to know our members and being part of their lives. We are a community of golfers and also a family.”

Golden Hills G&CC, which employs 20 people, recently celebrated its Greater Lexington Chamber membership with a ribbon cutting ceremony. For a tee time, call 803-957-3355.

“Golden Hills G&CC is proving to be the best golf course in the Midlands and we invite our fellow Chamber members to come and experience everything we have to offer!”
