Private Property Host Youth Apprentice Breakfast for National Apprenticeship Week

November 14, 2016 | Posted By: [email protected]

Private Property, in partnership with the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center and Lexington Technology Center(LTC), will host the first Youth Apprentice Pancake Breakfast tomorrow, 7-11 a.m. at the LCT, to commemorate National Apprenticeship Week.

For a $5 donation, guests who stop in can enjoy a cup of coffee, hotcakes and sausage while witnessing first hand the unbelievable opportunities associated with Youth Apprenticeships.

Companies that offer Registered Apprenticeship Programs can diversify their workforce, improve productivity and profitability, standardize training, reduce turnover, receive tax credits and more. Students enrolled in the program will receive valuable work experience while being paid, taking advantage of dual credit opportunities, earning scholarships, receiving tuition assistance and transitioning into a full-time career opportunity after high school.

Private Property is a locally owned restaurant in Lexington that currently has seven registered Apprentices, all of whom are enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at LTC and they will be responsible for planning and executing the Pancake Breakfast.

The LTC is located at 2421 Augusta Highway across from Lexington High School.
