Mingos Cookies: The New Lexington Business You'll Want To Visit
The delicious cookies at Mingos are not just cookies, but desserts within themselves. Think red velvet cheesecake all wrapped up in a cookie. Or what about your grandma’s favorite banana pudding built into a cookie and topped with meringue? One child of Richard and Krystina Pellerano, the owners and operators, is a fan of the campfire s’mores in a chocolate cookie, topped with torched marshmallows.
Mingos Cookies has been in business for one year employing about ten people, with plans to open multiple stores throughout the midlands. As entrepreneurs they have owned several businesses in the past; however, this has been passion driven with their love for food.
Krystina shared the exciting thing about owning Mingos Cookies is the ability to be as creative as the imagination allows. “Our store is going to be a family friendly vibrant work of art that you will never want to leave,” she said. “We invite you to come in, sit down with some tea or coffee and enjoy your favorite flavor of our cookies.” And bubble tea drinkers will no longer have to drive to Columbia to meet their cravings.
Lexington has been the home to the Pellerano family for many years. They are excited for the opportunity to bring something new that Lexington needs and to be a part of the growth of this amazing community.
They explained that the opportunity to share smiles, special moments and joy from their creations is extremely gratifying; something as simple as a cookie can bring happiness to someone’s life. That is Mingos Cookies slogan, Happiness Starts Here. Join them for a treat at 5580 Sunset Boulevard in Lexington.
