Bennett Casto grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. From an early age, his parents instilled in him the key values of commitment to faith and family.
Upon graduating from high school in 1998, Bennett moved to Charleston, South Carolina to attend school at the College of Charleston. Upon his graduation
from college, Bennett worked as an educator for a local non-profit organization that primarily served underprivileged middle and high school students
in the Charleston and Dorchester County School Districts. Bennett attended law school at the Charleston School of Law and graduated in 2007.

In deciding where to begin his legal career, Bennett chose Lexington because he saw the Lexington community as a great place to live, work, and play. For
the past 10 years, Bennett has worked as an employee of Lexington County as an attorney with the Lexington County Public Defenders Office. He is a
proud member of the Lexington County Bar Association.

Bennett still believes that moving to Lexington was one of the best decisions he has ever made and he wants to see Lexington continue to become a place
of growth and opportunity.

On any given weekend, Bennett can be found on Lake Murray trying his best to catch the fish of a lifetime with his family and friends. He is a lifelong
soccer fan and still loves to play in several of the local leagues. Additionally, he loves to workout and fellowship with his fellow brothers in
Lexington F3.
