Grow Financial Plants First Seed in Lexington
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union saw a tremendous opportunity in Lexington, and after opening in January, the business is prepared to share that positive outlook with the community.
Grow Financial celebrated its grand opening and Greater Lexington Chamber membership with a ribbon cutting ceremony and business after hours on January 15.
“Lexington is a thriving community and expanding rapidly,” area manager Alex Huggins said. “Grow Financial FCU sees a unique opportunity to serve the Lexington County residents with our innovative, energetic and exciting brand.”
The brand began way back in 1955 as MacDill Federal Credit Union. Today, Grow Financial is a full service credit union, offering mortgage loans, savings accounts, checking accounts and much more.
“We pride ourselves on our member service and providing them with more in return when they bank with us,” said Huggins, who also noted the company has 28 employees in South Carolina, including five in the Lexington store. “We love serving our members and demonstrating our capabilities to exceed expectations throughout every interaction we have. We pride ourselves in connecting our members’ dreams to reality.”
Huggins believes the future will see Grow Financial continuing to expand throughout the state. One key component of that is the company’s belief in giving back to the community. He foresees a continued emphasis on developing partnerships with local organizations in an effort to make a difference in the lives of local residents.
“We are not a traditional looking financial institution with teller lines and waiting areas for someone to help you. We have adopted the belief that we are different, and it lives in our company’s values,” Huggins said. “We believe in our mantra of Be Bold, Be Great and Have Fun, and we live it daily. Come by our store, meet our people and get a glimpse of how we envision the future of banking.”
