FAQs: Dining On The Dam

How much are tickets and what’s included?

Tickets are $99 each and include entry to the event and all food and beverages – beer, wine, signature cocktail, and nonalcoholic – available. Must be 21 years of age or older with valid identification to enter. No exceptions! Buy Tickets Here

How long is the event?

Dining On The Dam will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.

 

What should I expect at Dining On The Dam?

There will be food stations (with wine and beer pairings) along the span of the dam that you’ll be able to enjoy as you walk! We’ll have a variety of tables
throughout where you can gather with friends, eat and enjoy the view.

 

What should I wear to Dining On The Dam?

Dress for weather as it is an outdoor event. We suggest wearing something that’s comfortable enough to dance in yet stylish enough for selfies.

 

 

Should I take an Uber/Taxi/Lyft to Dining On The Dam?

We encourage all attendees to take other forms of transportation to the event as parking in the area will be very limited and so our guest can drink responsibly
and leave the event safely.

If I choose to drive, where can I park?

Parking will be first come, first serve at the SCE&G Public Parks on both sides of the dam. All attendees will receive a parking pass (via the email
that was provided for ticket purchase) that will grant them access the day of the event.

Attendees that leave their vehicles at the park on the Irmo side of the dam will be transported via bus to the event entrance.

How long will the top portion of the Lake Murray Dam be closed to traffic?

The top portion of the Lake Murray Dam will be closed to traffic beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 with reopening scheduled for midnight.

Will the walking path on the Lake Murray Dam be open to the public?

No, the walking path on the Lake Murray Dam will be closed beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 with reopening scheduled for midnight.

Will there be live entertainment?

Yes! We’re excited to have the Reggie Sullivan Band performing throughout the evening.

Is there be a rain date?

In the event of inclement weather, Dining On The Dam will be rescheduled for Sunday, April 28 at the same time.
