District One School Board Candidate Forum

On behalf of the Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center’s Public Policy and Advocacy Committee, we would like to formally invite you to participate in an upcoming School Board Candidate Forum.  The Chamber will be co-hosting this forum with The Lexington County Chronicle.

The forum will take place in the auditorium at the North Lake Community Learning Center. The forum is free and open to the public.  The purpose will be to provide an opportunity to inform Lexington voters, Chamber members, and interested community leaders about each candidate’s platform and their priorities.

We sincerely appreciate your willingness to serve as an elected official and represent the school district.  The school district is a vital component of this community.  Quality schools attract residents and this keeps our economy strong.  Moreover, quality education enhances student’s knowledge, and employers desire to have educated and talented workers within their workplace.  Your engagement and leadership are important to maintaining the high quality of life that we all enjoy.  The Chamber looks forward to your participation in our Candidate Forum.
