Networking Opportunities

Members and guests can participate in networking events such as Monthly Breakfast Meetings, Business Expos, Speed Networking, Small Business Celebrations, Business After Hours, and Ribbon Cuttings, just to name a few.

Breakfast Meeting: Jumpstart your day by meeting and networking with other Chamber members. Hear experts present information that may be critical to your business growth. (Held the 2nd Tuesday of each month.) Cost: $7 per person at the door or $65 per year.

Business After Hours: These events give members the opportunity to network with others in the business community in a relaxed setting, while mingling with potential customers, business associates, and community leaders. Complimentary beer, wine and appetizers are served.

Auction & Oyster Roast: An event, designed to promote the Lexington Community and to have fun while raising funds for the Chamber. Enjoy live entertainment, great food, with a live and silent auction.

Annual Golf Tournaments: Networking at its best! Combine a relaxing day of golf with the opportunity to interact with other business professionals. Have fun and promote your business at the same time.

Small Business Celebration/Steak Supper: Enjoy country-style steak and fellowship with Chamber members and business leaders. This event recognizes superb leaders in the community and honors the Small Business Person of the Year.

Business Expos: Companies of every size present their products and services during this event. It’s an ideal opportunity to grow existing business relationships and find new suppliers, customers and partners.

Referrals, Website Exposure, On-line Promotions and more…

Worldwide the Chamber of Commerce is viewed as a credible source for business referrals. We refer Chamber Members and we promote our membership through personal calls, visits, trade shows, and publications on the web at www.lexingtonsc.org. Referrals are given for member businesses only..

Public Events

The Chamber welcomes the opportunity to assist you with events like Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, and Groundbreaking Ceremonies. Our staff is available to assist with your planned events by spreading the news through email, area media contacts, and our quarterly newsletter, as well as calendar postings on the Chamber website. We will provide scissors, a ribbon or a shovel, and will bring dignitaries and Chamber representatives to your event.

Listings in the Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide puts your business name in the hands of thousands of people looking for products and services. Distribution includes newcomers to the area and all Chamber members, who look to each other for many of their business needs.

Visitor Center Information

Members may display company literature and business cards at the Chamber Visitors Center. The Visitors Center has information about tourism, clubs, organizations, business, industry, relocation and general information.

Member-2-Member Discounts (M2M)

The Member-2-Member Discount Program provides discounts for member businesses, allowing them to offer lower prices to other members for products, goods, and services. This is a great networking opportunity and partnership builder, bringing other members to your door. For members, saving money on goods and services maximizes the membership investment. Actually, the savings may exceed your annual membership dues. Call the Chamber and ask about membership rates and discount cards.

E-Link, Job Postings, and Available Office Space

A weekly email newsletter informs members of upcoming Chamber, business and community events.  A free online job listing is available to members wishing to advertise an open position.  Also, available office space can be listed online, free of charge to Chamber members.

Hot Deals

Offer store coupons and special offers to the community through your listing on the Chambers website.  The specials are displayed and can be printed as coupons to be redeemed at your place of business.
