Proving the progress
New families. New schools. New businesses. As the largest and busiest chamber in Lexington County, it’s imperative that we have the necessary facilities to meet the needs of the future.

Advancing our economy
The Chamber didn’t accept a legislative “no” when Amazon.com wanted to build in Lexington County. Instead, its leadership galvanized members and other organizations to honor the states promise and create 2,000 jobs for our people. The Lexington Chamber brought other Chambers and Government Leaders together to press for economic development and improved public policy.

Promoting our community
A brighter, more spacious Visitors Center on Main Street will be more welcoming and functional for people moving to the area or passing through town. The possibility of adding a gift shop or sales counter that sells local items, including postcards, helps promote Lexington and adds a financial value to the Chamber’s bottom line.

Our five-year campaign goal is $1,000,000

Local businesses, individuals, institutions, public entities and foundations will be asked to invest in moving our Chamber forward.
