New Lexington Business Supports LICS, PETSInc With Grand Opening
Firenza Pizza just opened on January 9 and they are already making an impact on the Lexington community. During their first week of business, the restaurant offered a free two-topping pizza to every person who made a $2 donation to one of two local charities. After giving out 1,518 pizzas, they were able to present LICS with a check in the amount of $1,586.00 and PETSInc with a check for $1,470.00.
“We are extremely excited to bring Firenza Pizza to the Midlands area,” said Bruce Rickman, who will own and operate the new restaurant with his wife, Eileen. “The brand has seen exponential growth nationally. With Firenza’s premium-quality product, I am confident that the local community will love it. We look forward to becoming the go-to place for fast-casual pizza in Lexington County.”
Firenza specializes in hand-crafted and made-to-order pizzas that can be customized with nearly 40 fresh toppings. Their pizza dough is made in house and is hand stretched to order. The pizzas are then baked in an open flame stone-hearth oven.
In addition to make-your-own masterpies, the restaurant offers ten chef-inspired signature pies including the award-winning Chipotle Chicken topped with crema and fresh pico de gallo. In addition to pizzas, the restaurant serves wings, meatballs and signature salads, so there is something for everyone who walks through the door.
