Meet Breakfast Speaker Mark O’Halla, Prisma Health President and CEO

Mark O’Halla joined Prisma Health on July 29, 2019, as the new President and CEO. He brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has more than 30 years
of progressive experience in health-care senior executive roles, including 13 years with the Michigan-based McLaren organization, the last five of
which were as executive vice president/chief operating officer.

McLaren Health Care is a 14-hospital system with two health insurance plans covering 583,000 lives. As the executive vice president/chief operating officer,
O’Halla spearheaded initiatives to achieve top performance in areas of financial, operating and clinical quality, created a standardized patient-centered
focus across the system that improved patient satisfaction, directed the alignment and growth of its Medical Group, and led efforts to integrate various
clinical and administrative elements of the health system.

O’Halla earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, and a master’s degree in Business Administration
from William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. He is active in several health-care organizations
including American College of Healthcare Executives.

O’Halla and his wife, Anita, have three grown children.

 

The breakfast program begins at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11 at RADIUS Church (300 W. Main St.). Admission is $8 and includes entry and meal. See the full Chamber Events Calendar
