Lexington Chamber Honors Lexington Medical Center’s Barbara Willm With Community Impact Award
LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center awarded Barbara Willm, Vice President of Development and Community Relations for the Lexington County Health Services District, with the Mike Till Impact Award at its annual awards luncheon Tuesday.
The Chamber presents this award to an individual who best exemplifies the characteristics of Mike Till – friendliness, perseverance and dedication to the Lexington community.
“Barbara always supports others in our community to make it a better place to live,” said Tod Augsburger, President and CEO of Lexington Medical Center. “Barbara is an excellent role model and representative for Lexington Medical Center and the entire Midlands community.”
Willm is responsible for the Lexington Medical Center Foundation and represents the Medical Center in community affairs across the Midlands. She helped open all of LMC’s six original community medical centers and has played a vital leadership role in each of these communities across Lexington County.
Willm is extremely active throughout the Midlands philanthropic and business community and is recognized as an advocate for the underserved.
