Instagram For Business (@instagramforbusiness)

This account is the champion of businesses, large and small, that use the network and will give you plenty of inspiration on how to use different features
to market your business. I am a huge fan of this account’s story highlights that break down things like repurposing content (meaning taking one picture,
video or blog and using it in multiple ways) and using story features like text mode just to name a few.

Sue B. Zimmerman (@theinstagramexpert)

The thing I like about Sue’s posts, besides her hilarious stories and funny dog, is that she understands that even the simple things (or what some my perceive
as simple) need to be shared and explained. If you follow her, you can count on step-by-step instructions on anything from how to geotag your stories
without displaying the location to creating a two-factor authentication for your account to prevent it from being hacked, which is the worst! She is
quick to respond and has free guides and classes available with best practices on Instagram business marketing.

– TOP REASONS WHY YOUR ACCOUNT CAN BE SHUT DOWN OR DEACTIVATED ⏡⏡ First of all – I don’t want your cookie to crumble when Instagram shuts down your account. Secondly – Unfortunately I personally can’t help you IF your account does get shut down. People message me every week asking me why their account got shut down and 9 out of 10 times they used a 3rd party app that was not approved by Instagram. So here’s what I suggest to avoid having your account shut down… Be careful of the apps that you use that connect to your Instagram account. Any app that claims to get you new followers is most likely NOT approved by Instagram. Any kind of automated, repetitive activity on Instagram is against their terms of service. — Here are 5 other reasons you could loose your account – read to the end because I tell you how to PROTECT your account right now. 1. Don’t confuse, deceive, defraud, mislead, or harass anyone – EVER! 2. Don’t use the Instagram Platform for any app that constitutes, promotes or is used in connection with spyware, adware, or any other malicious programs or code. 3. Don’t participate in any “like”, “share”, “comment” or “follower” exchange programs. 4. Make sure your comments are uniquely tailored for each person. Don’t post unauthorized commercial communications or spam on Instagram. 5. Don’t reverse engineer the Instagram APIs or any of Instagram’s apps. — You also want to protect your account from being “stolen” or broken into. Make sure you Set Up 2-Factor Account Authentication!! Right NOW! Here’s how ….. 1. Open your Instagram app 2. Go to your profile, and click the gear in the top right. 3. Scroll down to “2 factor authentication” then just follow the prompts. You’re welcome! Tell me in the comments below if you now have 2-Factor Account Authentication turned on!!!! :: #theinstagramexpert

Social Media Examiner (@smexaminer)

I follow this account specifically for the stories and here’s why: they constantly alert me of the latest or future updates to all social media platforms
that affect the way businesses can market. This is also my go-to blog resource for anything question I may think of related to social media marketing.
I have the blog with free stock photo, video and
audio resources bookmarked on my browser.

If you only have time to read one of Peg’s blogs, check out Instagram 101: 7 Key Steps to Instagram Success. This describes a lot her content that is written with the small business owner in mind. Her posts and guides will make you think creatively about how
you visually tell customers what your business is all about (see her posts below on how to use Instagram Stories). If you’re on Pinterest, she can
teach you a thing or two as well!

What’s your FAVORITE Instagram Story feature? 🌟⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love GIFs – they’re so darned fun. 😂There’s so many ways to create unique and interesting content on Instagram Stories. On the blog this morning I’ve shared eight ways you can build your brand using Instagram Stories beyond the ability to swipe up for links which is awesome! But not everyone has that yet.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Click the link in my bio for the full article.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ SHARE your fave way to use Stories in the comments. #linkinbio #otb #thatsdarling #flashesofdelight #prettylittlethings #photosinbetween #pursuepretty #abmlifeiscolorful #petitejoys #darlingmovement #thehappynow #lovethelittlethings #thesparklediaries #makeyousmilestyle #finditliveit #thegramgang #myunicornlife #theblogissue #ontheblogtoday
