Caughman Realty has joined the Greater Lexington Chamber and recently celebrated its membership with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Charles and Mary Caughman, who have been a husband and wife team for more than 25 years, opened their own real estate company about six months ago. The business is located at 120 Ellis Avenue, Suite C and employs four people. Charles serves as a broker/owner, and Mary is an agent/owner. The Caughmans are joined on their team by son Nicholas, who is a realtor, and Libba Barrineau, who serves as a real estate agent and marketing specialist.

The Caughmans, who are lifelong residents of Lexington County, offer clients a full personal service from the beginning of the process to the end. They offer a unique knowledge of the Midlands allowing them to introduce clients to communities that will meet the needs of the clients’ families.

According to the company website, their experience includes residential, commercial, large acre tracks, horse farm and farmland. They also have designations and experience with short sales, foreclosures, corporate relocation, new construction and property management.

The most gratifying thing about the job according to the Caughmans is “being able to help folks with the largest investment of their life.”

They pride themselves on helping people buy and sell both residential and commercial real estate. Their plans for the future are “to continue to grow and prosper.”
