Greater Lexington Chamber Establishes AHP For Member Benefit

The Greater Lexington Chamber, in partnership with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina (BCBS), has established an Associated Health Plan (AHP)
as a benefit to chamber members. If you are a small business with 2-50 employees you will be eligible to participate in the AHP. The offerings will
consist of 48 different plans which include HSAs, HRAs, PPOs and business service plans.

The potential savings for small businesses that are offering a qualified plan to their employees could be as high as 25 percent. For businesses that are
not currently offering a health plan to employees, the savings could be substantially less than offerings previously quoted by an agent. Plans will
offer bundled opportunities for life, dental and vision.

BCBS will not increase any base rates for two years. Agents will begin quoting plan options as of December 1, 2018 with plan implementation beginning January
1, 2019.
