Lexington Craft Beerfest

The first Lexington Craft Beerfest brought craft beers and more than 1,000 guest from throughout the region together on October 15 at the town’s newest venue, the Icehouse Amphitheater.

The festival, hosted by the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center, featured over 50 regional craft beers, six local restaurants and a food truck and live music by 20 RIDE, a Zac Brown Tribute Band.

Guests who have lived in Lexington for years were amazed and thankful that a venue like the Icehouse Amphitheater was now in their hometown. Otis Rawl, President and CEO of the Greater Lexington Chamber, was proud to see the new atmosphere that the 900-seat venue had brought to the downtown area.

“The Lexington Craft Beerfest was able to show the residents of my hometown the hard work that our organization, the Town of Lexington and others are doing to make this community a place to both live and play. I see the Icehouse Amphitheater as the first of many staples to come in Lexington.”

The Icehouse Amphitheater is the newest project under the Town of Lexington Vision Plan.
