He said the food was great and it was worth the trip. Any excuse to ride my bike. So I mounted my 1700 and was off to Lexington SC with a friend of mine, It would be a 4 hour ride. Any excuse, We arrived there at 4 in the afternoon. There was no one in the place but I kinda figured it was between meals. We sat down and was quickly approached by the server. No waiting. We ordered water because we were riding. I noticed someone came in for a take out order. Fast service. I didn't look at the menu because I wanted a good piece of veal. My friend couldn't make up his mind so the owner, Mike who came out to greet us, said don't worry I'll make you something special and he did. You see we were talking to him and told him where we were from and how long the ride was to get there. Very friendly guy. We got a fresh salad with a vinegarette dressing. Excellent. The garlic bread was hot and fresh. We got our meal fast and hot. We could not believe the portions I felt 2-3 people could have eaten from that plate, HUGH. My friends meal was sausage and peppers over a bed of Ziti.Unbelievable portion. The veal was HUMONGAS and a side of Ziti I could not even eat. The sauce was excellent. Just like mama use to make. I was going to get dessert but no way I could get it down. We thanked Mike for a great dinner and told him it was well worth the trip and we would see him again and again and again.
