A Foundation for the Community
The Chamber of Commerce, established in 1959, provides a foundation on which the community builds its goals, plans, and events. Upon this foundation rests an important Chamber responsibility - to contribute to the quality of life enjoyed by both our residents and visitors.
Our mission is to be a proactive voice of business for the benefit of the entire community. Through various programs, councils, strategic relationships and alliances, the Lexington Chamber of Commerce stimulates progress in the community related to workforce, tourism, public policy and regionalism. About our Community
Lexington is nestled deep in the heart of central South Carolina. Strategically located just off I-20 and only minutes from I-26, Lexington has easy access to the airways and trailways. Our dynamic economy boasts friendly people, excellent schools, theaters, and museums. Lexington County is one of the fastest-growing counties in South Carolina. Lexington County School District One is one of the best school districts in the state. The area tourism board says we’re a "Jewel of SC," and we agree!
